Police Investigate Triple-Fatal Collision on Georgia Avenue

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police – Collision Reconstruction Unit are investigating a fatal collision that occurred late Sunday night in the Aspen Hill area of Wheaton.

Last night, at approximately 9:47 p.m., 4th District officers responded to the area of Georgia Avenue and Kayson Street for a report of a serious personal injury collision.  Upon arrival, officers located three vehicles which had been involved in a collision.  Two occupants, an adult and a child, were pronounced deceased on the scene.  Four other adults were transported to local hospitals where one victim succumbed to their injuries later that evening.

At this time, there is no further information regarding the identities of the drivers and passengers.
