Concern for Missing Silver Spring Teenager

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police - Family Crimes Division are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing teenager from Silver Spring.

Essence Bailey, age 12, of the 13000 block of Castle Boulevard in Silver Spring was last seen on Wednesday at approximately 4:00 p.m.  Essence is described as a black female, 5’02” tall, and weighing 125 pounds.  She has short, black hair and brown eyes.  She was last seen wearing a pink bandana on her head.

Police and family are concerned for Bailey’s welfare due to her age and the fact that she has not been seen or heard from since Wednesday.

Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Essence Bailey is asked to call the Montgomery County police non-emergency number, 301-279-8000.  Callers may remain anonymous.
