Concern for Missing Silver Spring Man

Detectives from the 3rd District Investigative Section are asking for assistance from the public to locate a missing 24-year-old man.

Donavan Sanchez, of the 8800 block of Piney Branch Road in Silver Spring, was last in the area of Washington Adventist Hospital at 7600 Carroll Avenue in Takoma Park on Tuesday, July 2 at approximately 9:30 a.m.

Mr. Sanchez is described as a Hispanic male, 6’01” and 200 pounds.  He has black hair, brown eyes, and a light complexion.  He was last seen wearing a navy blue National Guard t-shirt, white tennis shoes, and a hospital gown.

Family and police are concerned for his welfare because Mr. Sanchez suffers from depression and has a history of suicide attempts.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Mr. Sanchez is asked to contact the Montgomery County Police at 301-279-8000.
