A Silver Alert Has Been Issued for a Missing Silver Spring Woman

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police 4th District Investigative Section are asking for help from the public to locate a woman missing from Silver Spring.

Shirley Jane Pugh is described as a white, 71-year-old female, 5’8” tall, weighing 165 pounds. She has brown eyes and white hair. She was wearing a blue and white striped shirt and tan Capri pants.

She was last seen at approximately 1:45 p.m. today driving a 2002 silver Toyota Sequoia with Maryland tag M880524. She is believed to be headed toward a Home Depot store in Silver Spring. She resides in the 15300 block of Good Hope Road, but spent last night at a home in Prince George’s County. It is believed that she may have gotten lost trying to get to a Home Depot in Montgomery County. Ms. Pugh has Alzheimer’s Disease and does not have prescribed medication with her.

A Silver Alert has been issued by Maryland State Police.
