WHAT:   Labor Day Weekend Sobriety Checkpoint

WHERE: To Be Announced

WHEN:    Saturday, August 31 (11:00 p.m.) to Sunday, September 1 (3:00 a.m.)

Montgomery County Police, in partnership with Maryland State Police and the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint.  This enforcement is part of the national “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” Labor Day weekend campaign and is a component of the Department's continuing effort to curb impaired driving and underage drinking.

The exact location of the checkpoint will not be disclosed in advance.  The times of the checkpoint are approximate and the checkpoint will be cancelled if there is inclement weather.
