Detectives Ask for Public's Assistance in Locating Missing Rockville Woman

Detectives from the 4th District Investigative Section are asking for the public's assistance in locating a woman missing from Rockville.

Tonya Charmine Simms, age 54, of the 14200 block of Chadwick Lane in Rockville, was last seen on Monday, September 16, 2013 at approximately 1:00 p.m. in the 1300 block of Lamberton Drive in Silver Spring.

Ms. Simms is described as an African American female, 5'4" tall, and weighing approximately 160 pounds.  She has black hair, brown eyes, and is wearing a pink headdress.  She was last seen wearing a white shirt, blue pants, and white shoes.  Ms. Simms is familiar with the Metrobus system and is in possession of a one-week unlimited pass.

Police are concerned for Ms. Simms' welfare and her mental well-being.  She is in need of medication that she does not have with her.
