Concern for Missing Silver Spring Woman

For Immediate Release: Tuesday, October 1, 2013

Detectives from the 3rd District Investigative Section are asking for the public's assistance in locating a woman missing from Silver Spring.

Melissa George, age 37, of the 600 block of University Boulevard East, is described as a white female, 5'4" tall, and weighing approximately 150 pounds.  She has blonde, shoulder-length hair and blue eyes.  She was last seen wearing a gray jacket and blue jeans.  George also wears eyeglasses.

George was last seen at her residence yesterday (September 30) at approximately 10:00 p.m.  Police and family are concerned for her mental welfare as she takes medications which she does not have with her.

George is known to frequent the Piney Branch Road and University Boulevard area.
