Police Need Help Locating Woman Missing from Hospital

For Immediate Release: Friday, December 6, 2013

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police - 6th District Investigative Section need the public's help in locating a woman reported missing from a hospital.

Elizabeth Jean Harris, age 62, of the 9000 block of Sligo Creek Parkway in Silver Spring was last seen on Monday, December 2 at 7:30 p.m. at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, 9901 Medical Center Drive in Rockville.  Ms. Harris left the hospital against medical advice.

Ms. Harris is described as a white female, 5'3" tall, weighing 195 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes.  She was last seen wearing white shoes, blue jeans, a white shirt, and a dark-colored, zippered jacket.

Police are concerned for her welfare.  Ms. Harris is in need of several medications and it is not known if she has any medication with her.

Anyone who has seen Ms. Harris or has information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000.
