Detectives Investigate Suspicious Death on Beltway

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police - Major Crimes Division continue to investigate the death of a man after his body was found on December 17 in a grassy area off of I-495.

On Tuesday, December 17, Maryland State Police received a call reporting a body off of the roadside of the inner loop of I-495 between Georgia Avenue and Colesville Road.  Troopers from the State Police located a deceased adult male and detectives from the Montgomery County Police - Major Crimes Division responded.

The deceased has been identified as Honorio Nava-Paredes, age 31, of the 1100 block of Massachusetts Avenue in Washington D.C.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy but has not yet made a ruling as to the cause and manner of death.
