Detectives Seek Assistance in Locating Missing Woman

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police - 3rd District Investigative Section are seeking the public's assistance in locating a woman missing from the Gaithersburg area.

Betty Jean Queen, age 68, of the unit block of Orchard Road in Gaithersburg, was last seen on December 29 at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring.  She has not been in contact with her family or her roommates since December 28.

Queen is described as a black female, 5'3" tall, and weighing approximately 100 pounds.  She has black and gray hair and brown eyes.  It is unknown what type of clothing she may be wearing.

Police and family are concerned for Queen's mental well-being.  She is prescribed medications which she is not taking.

Queen is known to frequent the Wheaton and Silver Spring areas.
