Detectives Continue to Investigate Kensington Bank Robbery

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department-Major Crimes Division continue to investigate a bank robbery that occurred on December 7, 2013 at the M&T Bank in Kensington.  Today, detectives are releasing surveillance photographs of the suspect and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying him.

On December 7, 2013 at approximately 12:56 p.m., officers responded to the M&T Bank located at 10420 Montgomery Avenue in Kensington for the report of a bank robbery.

Investigation revealed that the male suspect entered the bank, produced a handgun, and demanded cash.  The suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash and exited the bank.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 4o years old, and wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt.  He wore gloves and a covering over his face.
