Detectives from the Montgomery County Police - Major Crimes Division are asking for the public's assistance in locating a suspect wanted for an armed robbery that occurred in Gaithersburg.

On March 7, at approximately 11:31 p.m., 6th District officers and Gaithersburg Police officers responded to the 7-Eleven located at 418 Allied Place for a report of a robbery that had just occurred.  Investigation revealed that the suspect entered the store armed with a handgun.  The suspect vaulted the counter and ordered a store employee to open the register.  The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of cash from the register, again vaulted the counter, and fled from the store.

Through further investigation, detectives developed Ronzell Fonte Hunter, age 24, of an unknown address as the suspect in this robbery.  On March 13, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Hunter charging him with one count of armed robbery.  Since that time, detectives have been unable to locate Hunter and are now asking for the public's assistance in locating him.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Hunter is asked to contact Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477) or leave a Crime Solvers tip here.  Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to the arrest and/or indictment of Ronzell Hunter.  Tipsters will remain anonymous.
