For Immediate Release: Wednesday, March 26, 2014

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police-Family Crimes Division are asking for the public's help in locating a missing Bethesda juvenile.

Leila Anne Khalil, age 17, of the 4000 block of Broad Brook Drive in Bethesda, was last seen on Monday, March 24.  Leila is described as a white female, approximately 5’04” tall, 130 pounds, with brown eyes, and long brown hair.  She frequents the Kensington and Bethesda areas and is very familiar with public transportation.  Her family has not heard from her since she went missing on Monday.

Police and family are concerned for Leila's welfare because of her age and because she has a health condition that needs to be monitored.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Leila Khalil is asked to call the Montgomery County Police-Family Crimes Division at 240-773-5400 or the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24 hour line).
