Concern for Missing 86-Year-Old Man

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department- 3rd District Investigative Section are asking for the public's help in locating a missing man from Silver Spring.



Kim Eng Chamtarit, age 86, of the 8100 block of Bonaire Court in Silver Spring, was last seen in his home at approximately 7:30 this morning.  Mr. Chamtarit does not have access to a vehicle but does use public transportation.



Mr. Chamtarit is described as an Asian male, approximately 5’ 07” tall, and weighing 117 pounds.  He has gray hair that is cut short and has brown eyes.  He was last seen wearing a tan hat, khaki pants, a black jacket, and black shoes.



Mr. Chamtarit has limited English skills and has speech difficulties.  Family and police are concerned for Mr. Chamtarit's well-being.
