Detectives Seek Assistance in Identifying Suspects in Silver Spring Burglary

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police - 3rd District Investigative Section are investigating a burglary that occurred on February 4 in Silver Spring.  Today, detectives are releasing photographs of the suspects in the burglary and are asking for the public's assistance in identifying them.

On February 4, at approximately 9:12 p.m., 3rd District officers responded to a residence in the 7600 block of Eastern Avenue for a report of a burglary that had occurred sometime during the day on February 4.  Investigation revealed that the homeowner had been away during the day, and upon arriving home, noticed that items had been moved inside the residence.  The only property that had been taken were several credit cards.  Officers determined that the suspect(s) had entered the residence through an unlocked and partially open kitchen window.

Further investigation revealed that one of the stolen credit cards had been used at several area establishments during the late afternoon and evening of February 4.  These establishments included the McDonalds at 8407 Colesville Road and the Giant food store at 1280 East-West Highway.  Detectives were able to obtain photographs of the suspects using the stolen credit card at these locations.

Detectives are releasing these photos and asking for the public's assistance in identifying the suspects.
