Detectives Investigate Bank Robbery in Silver Spring - Photos Released

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police - Major Crimes Division are investigating a bank robbery that occurred on April 21 in Silver Spring.

On April 21, at approximately 12:35 p.m., 3rd District officers responded to a Capital One Bank branch located in the Silver Spring area for a report of a bank robbery.  Investigation revealed that the suspect entered the bank, approached the teller, and passed a note demanding money.  The note implied that the suspect had a weapon, but a weapon was not seen.  The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and fled from the bank.

Today, detectives are releasing photographs of the suspect in this bank robbery and are asking for the public's assistance in identifying him.
