Detectives Investigate Several Office Burglaries in Bethesda

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police - 2nd District Investigative Section are investigating several office burglaries in Bethesda that were reported in early April.

Between April 4 and April 7, 2nd District officers responded to the Bethesda Office Center located at 4520 East West Highway for four reports of burglaries.  Officers also responded to Bethesda Towers for a report of a burglary.  The following burglaries were investigated:

  • April 4 - 4520 East West Highway, Suite 700
  • April 5 - 4520 East West Highway, Suite 620
  • April 7 - 4520 East West Highway, Suite 750
  • April 7 - 4520 East West Highway, Suite 450
  • April 7 - 4340 East West Highway, Suite 250
After reviewing surveillance video from inside the Bethesda Office Center, detectives determined that an unknown suspect entered the building on April 4 at approximately 6:35 p.m.  The suspect was seen wandering throughout the building and entering some of the offices.

Today, detectives are releasing photographs of this suspect and are asking for the public's assistance in identifying him.
