Reminder: Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for 3rd District Station and Station Tours This Saturday

The ribbon cutting ceremony to commemorate the opening of the new 3rd District Station, located at 1002 Milestone Drive in Silver Spring, is this Saturday, June 7, at 9:00 a.m.

Guided tours of the police station are available to the public from approximately 9:45 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on that day.  People wanting to take a tour are asked to sign-up in the community room of the police station immediately prior to the ribbon cutting ceremony.  Tours will run approximately every 15 minutes and time slots will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
