Update: Gaithersburg Victims Identified

For Immediate Release: Monday, June 16, 2014

Detectives from the Major Crimes Division continue to investigate two apparent shootings that occurred last night in a Gaithersburg parking garage. Investigators believe that the shootings are a domestic-related homicide and suicide.

Detectives are now releasing the identities of the male and female victims involved in this shooting.  They are David Lee Reid Jr., 38 years old of the 400 block of Allied Place in Gaithersburg and Michelle Rena Reid, 39 years old, of the 200 block of Spectrum Avenue in Gaithersburg.

Detectives continue to investigate these two deaths and are asking anyone with information relating to this event or the two victims to call the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5070. Callers may remain anonymous.
