Burglary Suspects Captured on Home Video Surveillance; Police Need Public's Help in Identifying Suspects

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department- 5th District Investigative Section continue to investigate a burglary that occurred on May 28 at a residence on Barnesville Road in Boyds.  Home video surveillance captured two suspects and investigators are now asking for the public's help in identifying the suspects.

On May 29, a burglary was reported at a residence in the 15000 block of Barnesville Road in Boyds.  Investigation has revealed that on May 28 around noon, the suspects forced entry into the home and stole items.  The suspects also used a baseball bat (seen in surveillance photographs) and stones to damage property and the interior structure of the home.  Some of the damaged items were thrown outside on the ground.  The suspects also forced entry into a vehicle parked at the residence by smashing a vehicle window and rummaged through the glove compartment.

Home surveillance video captured two suspects inside of the home.  Detectives are asking anyone with information about this burglary to call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477) or leave a Crime Solvers tip here.  Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest and/or indictment for this crime.  Tipsters will remain anonymous.
