Concern for Missing Gaithersburg Woman and Her Child

For Immediate Release: Tuesday, July 8, 2014

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department - Special Victim’s Investigations Division are asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing Gaithersburg mother and her daughter.

Shania Zannette Hall, age 19, and her two-year-old daughter, Bailey White, were last seen approximately three weeks ago.  They were reported as missing to police yesterday.  Shania is described as a black female, 5’08” tall, 135 pounds, with black eyes and black hair.  Bailey is described as a black female, 1’06”, 20 pounds, with brown hair. Bailey was last seen wearing a pink jacket, purple tank top, dark blue jeans, and pink shoes.

Police and family are concerned for Shania Hall's emotional and physical well-being and are concerned for the welfare of the child.  Shania Hall has texted a family member stating that she and the child are o.k., but her family members have not seen her and do not know her whereabouts.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Shania Hall and Bailey White is asked to call the Montgomery County Police Special Victim’s Investigations Division at 240-773-5400 or the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24 hour line).
