Concern for Missing Gaithersburg Woman

For Immediate Release: Thursday, July 10, 2014

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 5th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Gaithersburg woman.

Linda Ann Merriweather, age 56, of the 5800 block of Riggs Road in Gaithersburg, was last seen on June 30.  She was reported as missing to police yesterday.  Ms. Merriweather is described as a black female, 5’02” tall, 150 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.  She wears glasses and walks with a cane.

Ms. Merriweather was last seen outside of the Rite Aid Pharmacy located at 3446 Olney Laytonsville Road in Olney on June 30 at approximately 10:00 a.m.

Police and family are concerned for Ms. Merriweather's emotional and physical well-being.
