Police Investigate Suspicious Death as Homicide

For Immediate Release: Sunday, July 27, 2014

Detectives from the Major Crimes Division are investigating the death of a Gaithersburg woman as a homicide.

This morning at 10:34 a.m., 6th District officers responded to the 18300 block of Hallmark Way for the report of a suspicious situation. On the scene they found a 47-year-old Gaithersburg woman deceased.

Preliminarily, detectives are investigating this suspicious death as a homicide. A suspect is in custody. This investigation is active and additional details cannot be released at this time.
