Concern for Missing Gaithersburg Man

Update: 8/25/2014: Detectives have received information that Martin Rogers was last seen on Thursday, August 21, in the area of Cumberland, Maryland at approximately 11:00 a.m.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department-1st District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Gaithersburg man.

Martin John Rogers, age 54, of the 12900 block of Riffle Ford Court in Gaithersburg, was last seen yesterday at approximately 7:30 a.m. as he left his residence to go to work in Poolesville.  Rogers was driving a blue 2001 Audi A4 with Maryland tags:  1BF6739.

Rogers is described as a white male, approximately 5’10? tall, 150 pounds, with gray/white hair and blue eyes.  He wears glasses and was last seen wearing brown khaki pants and a green and tan checkered, collared shirt.

Police and family are concerned for Rogers' emotional well-being.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Martin Rogers is asked to call the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24 hour line).
