Concern For Missing Silver Spring Man

For Immediate Release: Wednesday, October 15, 2014

Detectives from the 3rd District are requesting the public's assistance in locating a missing 79-year-old male.

Carl Michael was last seen at approximately 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 14 at his group home located in the 12400 block of Pretoria Drive in Silver Spring. He is described as a white male, 5' 7" tall, weighing approximately 200 pounds. He is balding. At the time of his disappearance he was wearing a striped green and black jacket, black pants, and was walking with a cane. He is familiar with public transportation.

Police and caretakers are concerned because Mr. Michael has shown symptoms of dementia and is without his medication. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Carl Michael is asked to call the Montgomery County Police at 301.279.8000.
