Update: Pedestrian Collision on Rockville Pike - Identity Released

For Immediate Release: Monday, November 10, 2014

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department- Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) continue to investigate a pedestrian collision that occurred  on Saturday, November 8th. 

The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital and remains in critical condition. The pedestrian is identified as Scott Ira Magid, age 45  of the 200 block of  Rollins Ave. in Rockville.

The circumstances of this collision remain under investigation. Anyone with information about the collision is asked to contact the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 240-773-6620. Callers may remain anonymous.
