Concern for Missing Silver Spring Juvenile

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – Special Victims Investigations Division are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Silver Spring juvenile.

Nicole Renee Benard, age 12, has been reported missing by her legal guardian. Nicole is described as a hispanic female, 5' 02” tall, 125 pounds, with brown hair with blonde tips and brown eyes. Nicole was last seen in the area of the 4100 block of Samson Avenue in Silver Spring.

Nicole Benard is believed to be with her biological mother, Wendy Benard.  Wendy is described as a white female, age 46, 5'00" tall, 120 lbs with black hair and brown eyes.  Wendy Benard does not have legal custody of Nicole.

Police and family members are concerned for Nicole Benard's emotional and physical well-being. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Nicole is asked to call the Montgomery County Police Special Victims Investigations Division at 240-773-5400 or the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24-hour line).
