Update: Identities Released in Triple Fatal Collision

For Immediate Release: Monday, November 24, 2014

Collision Reconstruction Unit detectives continue to investigate the triple fatal, single-vehicle collision that occurred on November 23.

The identities of those involved in the collision are as follows:

The surviving driver is identified as:

• Evelyn Martinez, age 32, of the 5400 block of Whitfield Chapel Road in Lanham, Maryland.

The deceased occupants of the vehicle are identified as:

• Melissa Roxanna Argueta, age 24, of the 8300 block of Navahoe Drive in Silver Spring.

• Cesar Alarcon Noriega, age 21, of the 1300 block of Meridian Place NW in Washington, D.C.

• Yeny Karina Vicente DeLeon, age 23, of the 8600 block of Piney Brach Road in Silver Spring.

The surviving occupants of the vehicle are identified as:

• Carlos Domingo Catonga Flores, age 25, of the 8700 block of Carroll Avenue in Silver Spring.

• Christian Johanna Ortiz, age 23, of the 8800 block of Piney Branch Road in Silver Spring.

• Jaquelin Amarlis Funes, age 20, of the 4400 block of Sigsbee Road in Silver Spring.

• Oscar Catonga Flores, age 32, of the 8700 block of Carroll Avenue in Silver Spring.
