Detectives Investigate Theft in Bethesda

Montgomery County Police-2nd District Investigative Section is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a theft suspect.

Over the past few months, several bicycle thefts have been reported from numerous apartment buildings in Bethesda. It is unknown at this time how many of these thefts are related. On October 30, surveillance video captured a suspect described as a black male, 5’4” to 5’7” tall, wearing blue jeans and a white jacket with black and white sleeves, stealing a bicycle in the 7100 block of Woodmont Avenue. At this time, this suspect is only wanted for this theft.

Detectives from the 2nd District Investigative Section have exhausted all leads and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call the 2nd District Investigate Section at 240-773-6710. Callers may remain anonymous.
