Update: Cause of Death in Plane Crash Determined

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department Major Crimes Division-Homicide Section have released the findings by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in regards to the occupants of the plane involved in the crash on December 9 in the 19700 block of Drop Forge Lane in Montgomery Village.

The occupants have been identified as Michael Rosenberg, 66 years old, David Hartman, 52 years old, and Chijioke Ogbuka, 31 years old, all of Raleigh, North Carolina.  The cause of death has been determined to be multiple traumatic injuries and the manner accidental.

These three victims are in addition to the three victims who were found deceased in an adjacent home. Those victims have been identified as Marie Gemmell, age 36, Cole Gemmell, age 3, and Devin Gemmell, age 1 ½ months.

Police are working with Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service and the National Transportation Safety Board as the investigation into the plane crash and deaths continues.
