Police Search for Critical Missing Juvenile from Wheaton

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Family Crimes Division are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing juvenile from Wheaton.

Mirsha Moreno-Chavez, age 14,  was last seen in the 3100 block of Helsel Drive, Wheaton.  She is described as a Hispanic female, 5’5’’ tall, weighing 140 pounds, with brown eyes, and brown hair.

Police and family are concerned for her mental health and welfare.

Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Mirsha Moreno-Chavez is asked to immediately contact the Montgomery County Police Family Crimes Division at 240-773-5400 or police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000. Callers may remain anonymous.
