Concern for Missing Silver Spring Man

Update:  Mr. Chan has been located and has been reunited with his family.

Officers from the Montgomery County Police Department-4th District are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 81-year-old Silver Spring man.

Tim Chee Chan, age 81, of the 1600 block of Guston Court in Silver Spring, was last seen leaving his residence today at approximately 2:30 p.m. He was driving a silver, 2003 Subaru Legacy with Maryland tag: 5AF4996.  His intended destination is unknown.

Mr. Chan is described as an Asian male, 5'08" tall, 130 pounds, with short, white hair.  He was last seen wearing a red flannel shirt with black pants and a blue jacket.

Police and family are concerned because it is possible that Mr. Chan is suffering from dementia.

Anyone who believes he/she has located Tim Chee Chan or anyone who sees his vehicle is asked to call 911.
