Heroes & Helpers this Saturday in Rockville

For Immediate Release: Thursday, December 18, 2014

On Saturday, December 20, Montgomery County Police will be partnering with Target at their store located at 5700 Bou Avenue in Rockville from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. for a Heroes & Helpers shopping event benefitting in-need youth to help buy holiday gifts for their families. This is the third year MCP and Target have teamed up to help build strong community relations.

The Heroes & Helpers program helps to foster strong community relationships by pairing public safety officials with in-need youth to shop for the children’s families during the holidays. During the event, MCP police officers will be paired with a child as they shop for holiday gifts for their families. The gifts will be purchased with gift cards donated by Target through the Heroes & Helpers program.
