Concern for Missing Wheaton Woman

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department - 4th District Investigative Section are asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing Wheaton woman.

Viola Lee Stith, age 68, of the 2600 block of Bel Pre Road, was last seen on Sunday, December 21.  She was wearing a blue jacket, blue sweater with snowflakes, blue jeans and was carrying a black pocketbook and red, reusable grocery bag. Viola Stith is described as a black female, 5'05" tall, 200 pounds, with gray hair/black eyes.  She may also use the name of Wanda Smith.

Family and friends are concerned for Stith's emotional and physical well-being.  Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Viola Stith is asked to call the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24 hour line).
