Concern for Missing Gaithersburg Woman

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department-6th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Gaithersburg woman.

Police are concerned for the emotional and physical welfare of Elizabeth 'Betty' Jean Queen, age 69, of the hundred block of Orchard Drive in Gaithersburg.  She was last seen on December 29, 2014 but was recently reported missing to police.

Elizabeth 'Betty' is described as a light-skinned black female, 5’ 2” tall, and weighs approximately 110 pounds.  She has brown hair and brown eyes.

Ms. Queen has a medical condition that requires medication that she does not have with her.  She is familiar with public transportation and frequents St. Martin's Catholic Church in Gaithersburg and St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rockville.
