Concern for Missing Bethesda Man

For Immediate Release: Thursday, January 15, 2015

Detectives from the 2nd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a critical missing Bethesda man.

Ithi Sophonpanich of the 7700 block of Wisconsin Avenue in Bethesda, was last seen on January 15 exiting the garage of his apartment complex.  Mr. Sophonpanich is described as an Asian male, 5-07 tall, weighing 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.  He was last seen wearing a dark colored coat.

Family and police are concerned for the emotional welfare of Ithi Sophonpanich. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Mr. Sophonpanich is asked to contact the Montgomery County Police at 301-279-8000.
