Update: Missing Gaithersburg Man Located Deceased

For Immediate Release: Wednesday, March 11, 2015

Harmohinder Bakshi, previously reported missing, was located deceased this morning in the Quince Orchard area of the county.  There is no indication of foul play.

On Wednesday, March 11 at approximately 4:30 a.m., 1st District officers and fire/rescue personnel responded for a call regarding an unresponsive male to the rear of the Dunkin Donuts at 12168 Darnestown Road.  First responders observed a male, partially obscured by a snow bank, on the ground and against a privacy fence along the property line.  He was deceased.

Detectives responded to the scene.  The subject is being identified as Harmohinder Bakshi.  The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.

Police and the Bakshi family thank the media and community members for their assistance in the efforts to locate Mr. Bakshi.
