Advisory: Sobriety Checkpoint March 13

WHAT:         Sobriety Checkpoint

WHERE:       Undisclosed location

WHEN:         Friday, March 13, 2015 (10:00 p.m.) to Saturday, March 14 (3:00 a.m.)

Tonight through St. Patrick’s Day, Tuesday, March 17, Montgomery County Police will be deploying an additional 50 officers as a component of the department’s continuing effort to curb impaired driving and underage drinking. This enforcement begins tonight as officers will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint.

The exact location of the checkpoint will not be disclosed in advance.  The times of the checkpoint are approximate and the checkpoint will be cancelled if there is inclement weather.

Don’t push the luck of the Irish. If you’re drinking, designate a sober driver or take a taxi.
