Detectives Continue to Investigate Death Discovered at Black Hill Regional Park

For Immediate Release: Tuesday, March 31, 2015

Detectives from Montgomery County Police-Major Crimes Division continue to investigate the death discovered on March 26 in Little Seneca Lake at Black Hill Regional Park.

The deceased is identified as Lian Tio, age 55, of the 18000 block of Coachmans Road in Germantown.  Detectives are currently awaiting results from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.  There is no evidence of foul play.

At 11:56 a.m. on March 26, officers from the 5^th District responded with Montgomery County Fire-Rescue personnel for an adult female who had just been found.  Once on scene, it was determined that she was deceased.
