Suspect Arrested For Seven Incidents of Indecent Exposure in the Aspen Hill and Bauer Drive Areas

For Immediate Release: Thursday, April 2, 2015

Officers from the Montgomery County Police Department have arrested Kevin Thomas McHale, age 27, of the 1600 block of Marshall Avenue in Rockville and have charged him with eight counts of indecent exposure. During these incidents, McHale would make inappropriate sexual comments to the female victims and expose himself. Five of the eight victims are between the ages of 13 and 17.

During this investigation, 4th District patrol officers, detectives, and plain clothes officers worked together to identify and locate the suspect. Many of the victims reported that the suspect was driving a gold/tan minivan. Yesterday, after receiving two 9-1-1 calls for indecent exposures in the focused area, patrol officers quickly responded and located a gold minivan traveling on Arctic Avenue. Officers stopped the vehicle and identified McHale as the driver. A police show-up was conducted with two victims and they identified McHale as the suspect. McHale was arrested and transported to the Central Processing Unit.   He has been released on bond pending his next court date.
