Concern For Rockville Woman

For Immediate Release: Saturday, April 4, 2015


Detectives from the 1st District Investigative Section are asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing Rockville woman.

Valerie Wear, 18 years old, last contacted family members by phone on April 3.  She has not been heard from since that time.  Police and family are concerned for her emotional well-being and physical welfare.

Valerie Michelle Wear of Deborah Drive in Rockville is described as a white female, 5' 8" tall, and weighing 130 pounds.  She has brown hair and blue eyes.  At the time of her disappearance she was wearing a blue jacket with white sleeves and blue jeans.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Valerie Wear is asked to call the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000.  Callers may remain anonymous.
