On Sunday, May 3 at approximately 10:07 p.m., 5th District officers and Fire/Rescue personnel responded for the report of a pedestrian struck near North Frederick Road (Route 355) and Gunners Branch Road.  First responders located an unconscious adult male on the right side of the northbound lanes at 19601 North Frederick Road.  He was transported to a local trauma center where he remains in critical condition.
