Detectives Investigating Sexual Offenses at Daycare in Silver Spring

Montgomery County Police-Special Victims Division is investigating sexual offenses that occurred at Ariana’s Learning and Play Family Child Care in Silver Spring.

On May 11, detectives interviewed the 5 year-old victim after the victim made statements to the victim’s parents about “Meme”, later identified as Manuel A. Aguilar-Morales of Silver Spring.  The victim stated to detectives that “Meme” inappropriately touched the victim on several occasions and also stated this has been happening since the victim began attending the daycare.  Aguilar-Morales is the father of the daycare provider that the victim goes to and helps with daycare functions.

Aguilar-Morales was arrested on May 12 and charged with two counts of second degree sexual offense, two counts of third degree sexual offense, and one count of sexual abuse.  He is currently out on bond.
