Active Search for Missing Autistic Teenager

For Immediate Release: Friday, September 4, 2015

UPDATE: Alejandro “Alex” James Mora, age 14, of the 5100 block of Parklawn Terrace, has been located and has been reunited with family.

The Department thanks the media and public for sharing this missing person case.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department - Special Victims Investigative Division are actively looking for a Rockville juvenile and are asking for the public's assistance in locating him.

Alejandro "Alex" James Mora, age 14, of the 5100 block of Parklawn Terrace, was last seen today at his residence at approximately 4:00 p.m.  Alex has high-functioning autism.

Alex is a white male, 5’06” tall, extremely slender  (90 pounds), with brown eyes and brown hair.  He was last seen wearing jeans, a light green t-shirt, gray socks, and neon green flip flops.

Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Alejandro "Alex" James Mora is asked to immediately call 9-1-1.
