Concern for Missing Juvenile

UPDATE: September 17 11:36 a.m. Tinae Jarona Swann, age 15, of the District of Columbia, has been located and has been reunited with family.

The Department thanks the media and public for sharing this missing person case.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department - Special Victims Investigations Division are asking for the public's help in locating a missing juvenile.

Tinae (pronounced Tee-nay) Jarona Swann, age 15, of the District of Columbia, was last seen on August 11 at approximately 11:00 p.m. at a family member's home in the 4500 block of East West Highway in Bethesda.  Tinae is a black female, 5’05” tall, 200 pounds, with brown eyes and short brown hair.

Family members believe that Tinae may be in Greensboro, North Carolina.  Montgomery County police detectives have been in contact with local authorities in North Carolina.

Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Tinae Swann is asked to call the Montgomery County Police Special Victim’s Investigative Division at 240-773-5400 or the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24 hours).
