Montgomery County Police detectives from the 5th District Investigative Section have arrested Jenise Shakea Hart, age 21, of the 13500 block of Demetrias Way in Germantown for burglary.

NOTE: This burglary was solved with the assistance of a Crime Solvers tip. On September 15 at approximately 12:00 p.m., 5th District officers responded to a residence on Gate Dancer Lane after the homeowner discovered a female suspect, now identified as Hart, inside of the home. Hart fled from the house after she was confronted by the homeowner.

On October 2, police released photographs of the suspect and asked anyone who recognized her to call police detectives. That same day, detectives received an anonymous tip that the suspect in the photographs was Hart.

Hart was arrested at her home on October 8 and transported to the Central Processing Unit where she was charged with one count of first-degree burglary and being a fugitive from justice. Hart posted a $10,000 bond on the first-degree burglary charge and was ordered held without bond on the fugitive from justice charge.
