Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department - Special Victims Investigations Division are investigating a sexual assault that occurred on October 8 in Montgomery Village. Today, detectives are releasing photographs
of the male suspect and are asking for the public’s help to identify him.
On October 8 at approximately 8:47 p.m., 6th District officers responded to a residence on Drexel Hill Circle for the report of a sexual assault.
Investigation revealed that the 46-year-old female victim parked her car in the neighborhood and was walking to her home when she noticed the suspect following her. The victim started opening the front door to her home when the suspect approached her from behind and sexually assaulted her. She screamed for the suspect to stop and her brother, who was inside the home, came to the front door after hearing the noise. The suspect fled the area once the victim’s brother came to the door.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his early 20’s, 5’6” tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds with a medium skin complexion.
