Tip-A-Cop to Benefit Special Olympics Maryland

WHAT: As part of the national Tip-A-Cop event, officers will collect tips and help serve Red Robin restaurant guests to raise funds for Special Olympics Maryland (SOMD). Events like “Tip-A-Cop” help the Special Olympics provide physical fitness and healthcare education programs at no cost to the Special Olympic athletes and their families.

WHO: The following agencies will have officers represented:

• Montgomery County Police Department

• Chevy Chase Village Police Department

• Gaithersburg Police Department

• Maryland-National Capital Park Police – Montgomery County Division

• Montgomery County Police Explorers

• Rockville City Police Department

• Takoma Park Police Department

WHEN: Saturday, October 24

TIME: 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

WHERE: The Red Robin restaurant located at 20001 Century Boulevard in Germantown

Residents are invited to come out and eat a great meal while supporting a great cause!
