Detectives Investigating Indecent Exposure in Gaithersburg - Photo of Suspect Released

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 6th District Investigative Section are asking the public to help identify a suspect who was involved in an indecent exposure - incident in the Flower Hill area of Gaithersburg.

On October 9 at approximately 4:10 pm, 6th District officers responded to the 7200 block of Whispering Oaks Way for the report of an indecent exposure. The adult victim told police that he was in his first floor apartment when the suspect appeared outside of the sliding glass door. The suspect asked the victim for his phone number, made sexual gestures, and exposed himself. The victim was able to take a photograph of the suspect before the suspect fled from the area.

The suspect is described as a black male in his late 20’s, 5’10” tall, and weighing approximately 170 pounds. He has black hair and facial hair. At the time the picture was taken, the suspect was wearing a navy blue jacket with the words “Woodstock Student” written in yellow letters on the upper left side of the jacket. He was also wearing black athletic shorts over black legging pants.

Anyone who recognizes this suspect or who has information about this incident is asked to contact the 6th District Investigative Section at 240-773-5770. For those who wish to remain anonymous, Crime Solvers of Montgomery County is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for any information that leads to the arrest of the suspect.
