Detectives from the Montgomery County Police – Major Crimes Division are asking for the public’s help to identify four suspects involved in a carjacking that occurred at the Wheaton Metro parking garage. Investigators are releasing a photograph of the suspect who drove the carjacked vehicle from the scene and are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.
On November 13 at approximately 10:00 a.m., 4th District officers responded to the Wheaton Metro station parking garage located at 11010 Viers Mill Road for the report of a carjacking. The investigation revealed that the 20-year-old victim parked on the third floor of the garage, exited the vehicle, and was walking toward the elevator when the victim was confronted by the four suspects.
The first suspect assaulted the victim and the second suspect removed the victim’s car keys and other property. The four suspects fled the garage in the victim’s vehicle; the first suspect drove the car.
The first suspect is described as a black male, approximately 17 to 20 years old, 5’8” to 5’10’ tall, and weighing between 150 and 160 pounds. He has short black hair. At the time of the carjacking, he was wearing a red, hooded jacket and dark pants.
The second suspect is described as a black male, approximately 17 to 20 years old, 5’8” to 5’10” tall, and weighing between 160 and 170 pounds. At the time of the carjacking, he was wearing a black, hooded jacket.
The third suspect is described as a black male and approximately 17 to 20 years old. At the time of the carjacking, he was wearing dark clothing.
The fourth suspect is described as a black male and approximately 15 to 16 years old. At the time of the carjacking, he was wearing dark clothing.
